No Distrito de Pedra Menina, Município de Dores do Rio Preto-ES, encontra-se as Ruinas da Igreja Nossa Senhora da Anunciata (Anunciata do Brasil) erguida na década de 30, pelo Imigrante Italiano Antônio Fazio. Essa foi a maneira encontrada pelo imigrante de cumprir uma promessa feita ainda no navio de imigrantes Italianos chegando ao Brasil, onde esse quase naufragou por causa de uma tempestade. Assim que chegou na Localidade de Pedra Menina ele foi cumprir sua promessa e a construção foi realizada e com a obra ainda inacabada, ele resolveu em 1952 consertar o telhado e uma tragédia aconteceu sofrendo um acidente, caindo do telhado, vindo a falecer, sem conseguir concluir a obra. Contam que até a década de 1990 a área da Anunciata, pertencia a Diocese da Igreja Católica de Cachoeiro de Itapemirim, que fez um documento escrito a mão passando a responsabilidade de preservação para a Prefeitura de Dores do Rio Preto-ES. Pesquisando os arquivos da prefeitura não foi encontrado nenhum documento que confirme esta versão, não existe escritura nem registro em cartório de doação por parte da Diocese da Igreja Católica. Enquanto isso não for solucionado a Ruina da Anunciata continua da mesma forma inacabada, correndo o risco de desabar deixando para traz um pouco da história do Caparaó Capixaba, e ainda tendo sua área do entorno sendo invadida com construções ao seu redor sem considerar a área do terreno.
